The series will be released on 6 home video sets with 2 episodes each, for a total of 12 episodes. Aniplex of America has licensed the series and simulcast the series on Crunchyroll and Hulu. Anime Limited announced that they had acquired the series for release in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Madman Entertainment acquired the series for release in Australia and New Zealand, and simulcasted the series on AnimeLab.

An anime television series adaptation animated by Seven Arcs Pictures was originally scheduled to air starting on October 5, 2017 on TBS. However, due to production issues, the anime's premiere was delayed until April 5, 2018 on TBS, and later on April 14, 2018 on BS-TBS. Hiroshi Nishikori serves as chief director of the series, Hirokazu Hanai directing the series, with Takayo Ikami in charge of series composition and Masaru Kitao designed the characters. fripSide performed the opening theme song "divine criminal", and Maon Kurosaki performed the ending theme song "décadence" (-デカダンス-). The series ran for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the series.

An anime adaptation for Tokyo Ghoul:re was announced on October 5, 2017, and started airing on April 3, 2018. Toshinori Watanabe replaced Shuhei Morita as the director, while Chūji Mikasano returned to write scripts. Pierrot produced the animation, while Pierrot+ is credited for animation assistance. Atsuko Nakajima replaced Kazuhiro Miwa as the character designer. The opening theme of the first season is "Asphyxia" by Cö shu Nie and the ending theme is "Half" by Queen Bee. The series aired in two seasons, with the first 12 episodes airing from April 3, 2018, to June 19, 2018, and second season airing from October 9, 2018, to December 25, 2018. The opening theme of the second season is "Katharsis" by TK from Ling tosite Sigure, and the ending theme of the second season is "Rakuen no Kimi" (楽園の君) by Österreich.

The anime is co-produced between Genco and Studio Gokumi. Kodai Kakimoto directed the series, while Tatsuya Takahashi is in charge of scripts and Yoshinori Shizuma is the original character designer. Kaede Hondo, Saori Ōnishi, Azumi Waki, Hina Kino, Risae Matsuda and Eri Suzuki performed both the first opening theme "Save Me Save You" and the first ending theme "Kokoro no Memoria" (心のメモリア). They also performed the second opening theme "Shinkakei Colors" (進化系Colors) and the second ending theme "Mirai Epilogue" (未来エピローグ).[11] The series aired from January 5 to June 22, 2018. The story takes place after Rintaro Okabe fails to save Kurisu Makise in the original Steins;Gate series. After failing to save Kurisu Makise in order to prevent a future war over time machines, Rintaro Okabe, traumatized over his experiences of meddling with the past with his Reading Steiner ability, chose to live in the beta world line where Kurisu stays dead. After several months have passed, Rintaro meets Maho Hiyajo and Alexis Leskinen, two of Kurisu's former colleagues who have been working on Amadeus, an artificial intelligence system using Kurisu's memories from before her death. Rintaro accepts a request to help out with Amadeus' development by becoming a tester, conversing with the Amadeus Kurisu through his phone.

On October 29, 2015, the series' official Twitter announced that My Hero Academia would receive an anime adaptation produced by Studio Bones. With the anime announced, Toho registered the domain name "heroaca.com" as the anime's website. The anime is directed by Kenji Nagasaki, written by Yōsuke Kuroda, and featured character designs by Yoshihiko Umakoshi and music composed by Yuki Hayashi. The anime premiered on MBS and other Japan News Network stations in the Nichigo time slot at 5 P.M. on Sundays in Japan. The opening theme is "The Day", performed by Porno Graffitti and the ending theme is "Heroes", performed by Brian the Sun.

The series is directed by Junichi Sato and Kenichi Kasai, and written by Deko Akao. It is produced by animation studio J.C.Staff, with character designs by Yoko Ito. The music was composed by GONTITI and produced by Flying Dog. The opening theme song is "Million Clouds" by Maaya Sakamoto, while the ending song titled "Futari Shōjo" (ふたり少女, lit. Two Girls) is sung by Tekopikari, a duo consists of Eri Suzuki and Ai Kayano. An original video animation was included in the seventh Blu-ray/DVD volume released on 29 March 2017, later releasing on Crunchyroll on 12 October 2017. The series has been renewed with a second season titled Amachu! Advance. It aired between 7 April 2018 and 23 June 2018. The second season's opening theme is "Crosswalk" by Minori Suzuki and the ending theme is Harō, Harō (ハロー、ハロー, Hello, Hello) by Maaya Sakamoto, and an insert song "Tieleusha" by Mina Kubota. Most of the staff returned, as Kiyoko Sayama replaced Kenichi Kasai as director. It also ran for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the second season.
