Todays match is a quick game of "Bounty Hunter". Players have two arm bands each and when a player is tagged they give one of their arm bands to the player that tagged them until there are no more to give. Today we are playing a game of Capture the point. The rules are simple: The attackers have to capture three spawn points within 10 minutes to win, the defenders must hold them off. The defenders cannot recapture points and they must respawn at an uncontested point. Ruin and I are on the defending team. I'll be using my select fire Ultra Stryfe which was designed and built by Colin Wood, the legend behind the Woozi. Ruin is using both his 12kg Lynx and his new Fly point pistol. Today we're playing a Family friendly match of Dart Drop. Family friendly matches are for new and younger players to join in the fun, without being wrecked by modified gear. These matches have an 100 fps cap and is the perfect opportunity for experienced players to bring their seldom used but fun gear. The rules for Dart Drop are to simply get as many darts as possible into the other teams box. The team with the most darts in the opposing teams box, wins. Young Jack is helping me make this video as he is the star of the show. Game type - Escort the VIP A large group of defenders protect the VIP, while the VIP collects three armbands from around the playfield. Once all three armbands have been collected the VIP must make it to the safe zone, to win. The defenders have one life each but they can be revived by a medic. These low powered events allow younger and new members of the hobby to join in the fun without being wrecked by highly modified gear. It also gives people a chance to use low-powered but fun blasters. Today's match is called "Dart Drop" and the rules are simple, two teams try to fill up a small box near the opposing team spawn with as many darts, ball rockets as possible. The team that put the most ammo in wins. All ammo must be fired from a blaster and cannot be just dropped in. Ammo that bounces out does not count. Jim and I are working together and Alison is on the opposite team. I'm using my 3s Stampede, Jim is using his classic rocket Titan with a built-in hand pump and Alison is using her stock Perses. Arrows and Tennis ball hits are counted as two tags instead of the normal one tag as it is quite difficult to get tags with those blasters. I'm running solo this match, so I get to hunt everyone.
