Self-Aware American Giallo With Saw Style Traps

One part Suspiria, and other Italian gialli, one part scream and the new wave self-aware slasher, one part puzzle/survival horror à la Cube and Saw, and one part MTV’s the Real world. All of this, and a Linnea Quigley cameo in a $500,000 straight to DVD and home video release? Um… It sounds like it shouldn’t work.. And to be honest, it might not fully, but it works a lot better than you’d expect. It’s a little rarely seen film that could. This is Kolobos.
