Why Todd Howard wants to avoid the word “survival” with Fallout 76

Fallout 76 is not a survival game. At least according to Bethesda director Todd Howard. He doesn’t want to use the term survival when describing his post-apocalyptic multiplayer game. Why? Because the term “survival” reminds people of games like Rust and DayZ.
