Loot box regulation "challenges our freedom to innovate"

Speaking at the Nordic Game Conference this week, Entertainment Software Association President Mike Gallagher spoke about how government regulation of loot boxes would affect the games industry’s freedom and that companies shouldn’t let a few “overreactions” from governments scare them off experimenting with different monetisation models.

As you’d expect this didn’t exactly go down well with gamers.
