Initially shott in 1995, it wasn’t until 2005 when it finally finished filming and it wasn’t until 2014 when it finally saw a theatrical release in Japan. Now I’m no stranger to Evil Dead rip-offs and when visually comparing Bloody Muscle Builder in Hell to the Evil Dead series, there’s no denying director Shinichi Fukazawa was heavily influenced by the evil dead, but that isn’t inherently a bad thing. If you go in with the right expectations, it can lead to a really fun time. But is Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell worth your time?
