A fellow YouTube creator has a broken wood plane and I offered to weld it. I'm not a welder nor do I play one on YouTube, but this is an opportunity to learn how to weld cast iron and improve my welding skills. This was a difficult weld due to my lack of welding skill and the cast iron is 1/8" thick.
I'm using Crown Royal welding rod, crown royal 55/45-10
