After news broke of Netflix losing over half a million subscribers in the past year, the streaming service giant announced they would be allocating resources to add video games to their content lineup. But what does this mean for gaming as a whole? Could Netflix gaming be the final push game streaming needs to become mainstream? Or is the tech still not good enough to pull of such an ambitious concept?

In this video, we take a look at Amazon's attempts to enter the video game market (Crucible and New World), how Netflix can learn from them, and ask the question: Can Netflix really pull off game streaming?
