Activision Blizzard isn't the only business trying to navigate the tightrope of US/China relations.
But in Commissioner Adam Silver, the NBA has found a voice that is the strongest advocate for the freedom of speech on these issues that we have yet seen...even when that freedom is used against him. (Thanks, Lebron.)
How has the NBA responded to China since the first days of the "Blizzard of Backlash"?
What could China mean when it promises "retribution"?
And why does the organizational structure of the NBA make it easier for Mr. Silver to take a stand?
Perhaps Blizzard should just announce "Diablo IV: Retribution"...in Virtual Legality.
