How high should you be hitting the heavy bag when you’re working?
- Your own knuckles should be just above your own shoulders. Work that for straight strong speed for all of your punches.
- If you’re training to fight a taller fighter you want to hit the heavy bag on an upward angle a little bit higher, Somewhere around your forehead height but remember to keep your chin down eyes forward.
- standard rule is to throw your hands just above your own shoulders but work both to stay sharp
