2 Legit Effective Core Exercise. This will increase Power! This video featuring Nate Bower and JT van V from Precision Striking showcase 2 excellent and effective core exercises. In exercise number 1, the Walk out or lengthened plank, you challenge and strengthen core stability. Exercise 2, a cable half kneeing anti-rotational exercise you increase power by learning to control your hips while extending and rotating your upper body. This translates nicely for sport and boxing power.

Execise 1

Exercise Reps
Walkout plank Do 5 to 8 reps, 3-5 second holds in the beginning

Increase to 30 seconds if you can over a 4 week period

Exercise 2

Exercise Reps
Cable half kneeing anti-rotational Do 2-3 sets of 12 in the beginning

Gradually move to 8 heavier reps per a 4 week period and increase the pull speed
