Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Plemons and Robert De Niro, in a true life crime film concerning the disappearances and suspicious deaths of numerous native Americans during the 1920s in an event known as the reign of terror.
The movie began filming last month after being delayed for around a year due to the covid pandemic, and the shoot is set to last all the way to around November, and as such we’ve been getting a few set images here and there coming through as filming progresses.
First an image of Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone in a scene from the movie was shared via DiCaprio’s twitter page, and since then we’ve gotten a few unofficial pics from the shoot, a few including Robert De Niro in costume and one with Martin Scorsese. Check out my previous video for more details.
And in the same video, I detailed how Robert De Niro flew home from the shoot in Oklahoma to New York in order to receive treatment for a leg injury he sustained. It didn’t happen during filming nor on set of the film, but was bad enough that he requires medical aid. De Niro spoke about the injury recently to IndieWire, in what is I believe his first ever interview on Killers of the Flower Moon.
