The Ford Mustang has been in production for 55 years, over 6 generations. It truly is the most iconic American car ever made, and we're behind the wheel of a prime example as we get into fall weather here in Québec. Our full tour and review is on this 2020 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Premium. We go over everything potential buyers would want to know if this is the first Mustang they'd be buying and how it compares with the Chevrolet Camaro or Dodge Challenger we've driven on TestDrive. Our Mustang GT comes well equipped with highly recommended features such as the 401A equipment group, Active Valve Performance Exhaust, 10-speed automatic transmission, adaptive cruise control, and the 12-speaker B&O audio system.
We discuss the various Mustang trims available for 2020 such as the 2.3L EcoBoost and the Shelby GT350 and GT500 and why you might consider either of them along with this GT Convertible. We go over the Coyote V8 engine, fully independent rear suspension, and the available options and packages on the Ford Mustang.
We take the 2020 Ford Mustang GT convertible on a road test to talk about how this car performs, handles, drives, and rides compared to over convertibles we've driven in this size segment, and how the different drive modes work, such as the Sport+ of MyMode, along with the Line Lock feature built into the race options for the Mustang.
