I have the exact same experience with the perforated whites, they kind chafe the gums over time.

Going to Storlien tomorrow to pick up a can of this tomorrow. Excited, but do fear I'll come to the same conclusions as you on the taste... We'll see.

Hmmm...
Not as good as the other Lundgrens, I'm not quite sure how to rate it, not great, not horrible.
But do enjoy smokiness and the variation it brings to the market.
I don't think it'll be on rotation, but I'll pick it up now and then, just 'cause it's different.
