The Show looks promising so far. I get what you are saying about the message of the episode being muddled by recent events that the writers would not have known about, namely so many Republicans embracing authoritarianism to enforce their socially conservative values and beliefs. It's one thing to have them, it is another thing to use the state to enforce said values against the will of the people and likely in violation of the Constitution. I do wonder what changes the writers would have made had they known about these recent developments.
What are your thoughts about Star Trek: Strange New Worlds so far?
