We couldn't tell you if we drove the 7th generation Nissan Sentra before, because it was such a forgettable car you'd end up blocking it out of your memory. But today Nissan has made serious headway with this compact sedan, and the 8th generation went from the bottom of the segment right up to the top. Our full tour and review is on this 2020 Nissan Sentra SR Premium complete with the $335 two-tone David S. Pumpkins paint scheme for those who want it to be Spooky Month every month.

Our episode of TestDrive Spotlight goes over everything potential buyers would want to know about the 2020 Nissan Sentra SR including the updated 2.0L engine, the switch from a rear torsion beam suspension to a multi-link setup, along with the different trim grades and features sold here in Canada. Nissan's Safety Shield 360 comes standard on all Sentra models, and a 6 speed manual is still available on the base trim.

We go around the exterior of the Sentra to discuss it's updated appearance and mechanical specs, then jump behind the wheel to take this compact sedan on a real world road test. We report our fuel economy testing results along with our overall impressions on how this car rides, drives, and feels on the road.

We discuss the interior design, features such as the 8" infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, sunroof, Bose audio system, and 7" gauge cluster screen.
