Today I'm at SIG Sauer Parts (soon to be ModGuns) to play around with assembling a SIG 320. I've always been interested in stocked pistols, and so I'm going to take this opportunity to put together a USW (Universal Service Weapon). This originated as a complete pistol made by B&T (based on the CZ75) with an integrated folding stock and Aimpoint Nano optic. B&T decided to also make stocked chassis units for Glock and SIG pistols, and so the SIG model is what I'll do doing today. The modular design of the SIG 320 should make this a fun and pretty simple process...

About Forgotten Weapons
At Forgotten Weapons I think the most interesting guns out there are the most obscure ones. I try to search out experimental and prototype weapons and show you how they work.

on my fnx 45 i use teflon tape on the threading to keep the tread protector on, works great.
Interesting. I've not had the issue on mine, nor has my son had it on his, but it makes sense.
I installed a Gray Guns trigger kit in my 320 X5 and learned that I don't enjoy putting the FCU back together. I like this build only things I would change is if I could buy the gray guns sear by itself (the whole kit is good for a competition pisol but for a PDW I would prefer to have the trigger a little heavier the Gray guns sear is just polished so it delivers a smoother pull) I would install that with factory weight springs.
I'd keep the apex trigger bar but replace the trigger with the agency arms model that comes with a trigger safety and replace the RMR with a SRO or a holosun I don't like the narrow window and green hue of the RMR
I enjoyed this build and it was an interesting break from your more regular content. Hope to see more stuff like this in the future!
It always helps to have "experts" off camera to make sure assembly is done correctly and proper techniques used.
Simple and delicate and yet is complex and strong, almost like a watch.
Why not have a link in the Utreon description?
This was a fun one, Ian. Did you re-release this from a couple of weeks ago? I've been looking forward to seeing your followup on how it performs on the range.
That's so cyberpunk
This is depressing. I live in California, and we are literally ripped of our intrinsic natural rights to gunsmith. And further banned from purchasing modern handguns since 2013, because of Kamala Harris lying about the existence and feasibility of microstamping (among other things). Great video, but really, really depressing to watch (your clear joy) in a "ban state".
