Atheism & Skepticism

In this video, I talk about the important role that skepticism plays in my position as an atheist. I came to be an atheist because of my skepticism. Now, if my skepticism had lead me to another path, such as Christianity, Islam, or Hinduism, I would have been equally satisfied.

It's not about the conclusion. It's about how that conclusion was reached. Adherence to strong scientific evidence and holding those standards of proof to everything in life - especially when assessing claims that one finds emotionally satisfying and reassuring.
