EA stood by loot boxes and insisted they were not in fact gambling in its latest investor call. CEO Andrew Wilson explained how Fifa Ultimate Team does not, in fact, amount to gambling - despite the Belgian authorities’ findings to the contrary. But the biggest bombshell might be this: EA in fact plans to “push on” with loot boxes in future.
