You ARE going to pay more money for sewing, quilting & craft supplies in 2022. We are seeing the effects of inflation and supply chain shortages worldwide, and makers are no exception to significant price increases across the board. As someone who sells sewing supplies on Etsy, I'm getting regular announcements from manufacturers and distributors notifying buyers of price spikes due to their own rising costs. We're talking everything from quilting and apparel fabric, notions like rulers & thread, and handmade items in Etsy shops and craft fairs.
Moving forward, I will be focusing more on budget-friendly topics, scrappy projects, and using what you already have.
