Strengthen the foot and ankle with these exercises, slow and controlled!

(top left): squeeze a ball between the ankles. slowly raise the heels off the ground then back down.

(top right): raise heels off the ground but keep big toes planted on the floor.

(bottom): keeping the heels off the ground and feet facing forward, step sideways.
