With Avengers: Endgame becoming the highest grossing movie of all time, and Spider-Man: Far From Home becoming the highest grossing movie ever released by Sony Pictures, all would appear to be full steam ahead for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
But with the bomb dropped by Deadline Hollywood yesterday, it appears that Marvel, Disney, and Sony have a lot of issues to work out in the very near future.
What was reported by Deadline, and why is everyone else reporting that Kevin Feige will no longer be involved with Spider-Man?
How do negotiation failure like this, where both sides have strong incentives to come to agreement, happen, and why might news of the failure have leaked out at this time?
And why is this very far from the end of the story?
With great power comes great leverage...in Virtual Legality.
