In this video, a good friend and I test two loads manufactured by Aguila over a chronograph, and in @clearballistics 10% synthetic gelatin. We also tested a 17 Remington load just for fun, to see what it would do next to FMJ loads from 223 and 5.56. The loads tested are as follows: 55gr Aguila 223 FMJ 62gr Aguila 5.56 NATO FMJ 25gr Remington 17 Remington HP Tests are done to show a typical performance between 223 and 5.56 commonly available loads, and selection of loads from the same manufacturer was prioritized over keeping the grain weight the same. In this video, we revisit the comparison test for the Critical Duty vs Critical Defense. Instead of simply using the shorter barrel of the HK P30SK, we retest using both the P30SK as well as the 5+” barrel of a VP9 Match.
