Being the very first game I ever watched my dad complete when I was but five years old. The final showdown with Sardius takes place in this run! The ultimate weapon of incredible power! The Bracelet is one of the best weapons in game, especially alongside Gold armor, as it has a projectile eating effect. In my humble opinion, this is thee worst weapon in the entirety of SGNG. It still has its use cases, as can be seen with how I am able to effectively cheese Astoroth. However, I struggled with this run more than any other... The reason why? This weapon is only obtainable from level five in either loop. One of the more difficult weapons to wield in this game, having some incredibly weird properties, the Axe is niche to say the least! Most folks argue on which of the three niche weapons are truly the worst in this game. Whether the Axe, Scythe or Triblade are number one in the weakest armament department, is subjective... Niche is the nickname for the next three weapons on our list to complete. Beginning with the Scythe, which requires you obtain the torch first in order to receive this weapon. It isn't too great normally and un-upgraded, and it is a bit lackluster upon obtaining the bronze armor... However, the magic of this weapon is the definition of a screen nuke! What is most interesting is that another weapon has a magic literally named: "Nuclear!" and it does hit every enemy on screen... But it wishes it could be the Scythe magic "Whirlwind!" Generous cuts were made in the last two stages of this game... Pun intended. I had thought that you were able to make Arthur Game-over in the credits, and you just may, but not in the version I am playing apparently. Therefore I cut all the sacrificed lives to get that outcome since it did not work. The Dagger is unanimously considered the best weapon in game! But what if I told you there are three weapons that outclass it in a few ways all their own? Hard to believe truly, but my three favorite weapons are just those! Are they universally better? The ending cutscene is rendered in game, and uses the in-game controls! So, because of this, I was able to make Arthur kick the bucket. The Lance! The default weapon of the Ghost 'N Goblins series of games. Surprisingly versatile and useful in this installment.
