Dave, i enjoy your content very much. Keep up the good work
Sorry you had to deal with this as a content creator. I found your videos quite helpful when buying my first oscilloscope. (Rigol DS1054Z for what it's worth.)
If I can make a tangential remark: I understand this is also a job for you, and the metrics matter. But if I can say about a hobby, and passion...
On the MCAT, or premedical admission exam in US, there are certain themes you're taught about in prep classes. A bit of a cheat sheet of the mentality used by AAMC to draft the questions, if you're lost and looking for the their likely correct answer.
"Art for art's sake" is a major point they like to use. That any questions regarding creativity or art, usually are based on premise the creator is doing it out of pure philanthropy. (Which isn't the case in reality; but this is AAMC we're talking about; premed applications are so competitive the colleges can have flowers in their heads and select for whatever they want.)
Likewise, I hope you can normalize the beautified ideal, with practical reality. Of perhaps a single numbnut like me watching your carefully constructed videos only once, for one thing, and finding that thing.
