On June 30, 2020, China enacted "The Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" (the "National Security Law") ostensibly to help safeguard the national security of Hong Kong.

But the law's effects are significant, its application ambiguous, and its breadth far reaching for industries across the world.

It's time for a legal deep dive.

A blizzard of chilling effects can't chill us...in Virtual Legality.
