The Nintendo Switch has been hacked, allowing homebrew on the portable system. Linux is already running on it. IT opens the door for piracy. All sorts. Digital Foundry called it a security nightmare for Nintendo. Elsewhere, Microsoft are being sued over ‘egregious and wilful’ patent infringement, PS4 is outselling the Switch and the Xbox, and analyst Michael Pachter says don’t expect next gen consoles until 2020.
