This is an early Tequila cocktail recipe... at the time I filmed this, it was the oldest tequila cocktail recipe in my collection; but I have since acquired an even older book with tequila cocktails in it. This 1939 cocktail book is from bar 'La Florida' or 'Floridita' in Havana Cuba. Floridita was one of several pivotal prohibition era bars that catered to American drinkers during the dry years.
So if you are just starting out on your road to being an educated barfly, getting behind the bar for the first time, and learning how to drink and become a bartender, follow along with cocktails after dark.
