Can you heat treat 3D printed gaskets? More experiments with flexible filamentVote
In this video I do more experiments following up on my first video about making TPU gaskets. I answer some questions and explore more about this material to see in what applications in can be used. I attempt to heat treat or anneal the TPU to make it more resilient at higher temperature. I compare the heat treated gasket to ones straight off the printer using a Shore A Hardness Durometer. I also try to test them at temperature while torqued and finally take the temperature of my lawn mower test subject to see where else we can use the gaskets.
