I created an updated video that ALSO shows how you can also include an end time. https://youtu.be/VWkWPZZ1fiA
I'll show you how to share a YouTube link at a specific time on mobile phone and on your computer.
It's easy to share videos at a specific time on your computer or laptop. On your mobile phone, it takes a bit more work. However, once you figure out exactly what you need to add to the end of a url, it's significantly easier.
By adding ?=t followed by the number of seconds when you share a url on your phone, it will send people to that exact time in the video. Alternatively, you can write minutes as two numbers then m, followed by seconds as two numbers then s.
For example: ?t=05m18s would mean that the video would start right at 5 minutes and 18 seconds. The same result can be achieved by doing ?t=318 (5 minutes and 18 seconds is 318 seconds).
Please let me know if you have any questions or run into any issues at all!
I'm always happy to help. Please subscribe and click the bell to be notified when I come out with a new video. I have a ton of ongoing advice on growing your online presence and using video to market your business and your brand.
My preferred method on mobile is adding ?t=number of seconds to the url (the shorter one when you click share, not the one that has the word "watch as a part)
